Thoughts on The Amazing Race 23

Jason and Amy (1st Place)- I liked them then and I liked them now. These two are just very nice and adorable. But not only that I liked their progress and story too you know. They were the new couple compared to teh other couples in the Final 3 (Exes and Veteran Couple). They didn't show up much in the first few legs but soon they started forming small bonds with Tim/Maria and Nicole/Travis. They have seen the good times (Marie and Amy doing the RB while Jason and Tim were just dancing around to take some time off <3) to teh bad times (Tim/Marie stealing their taxi). And I think how emotional they were but not to teh point of bitterness, unlike another team which I'll get to later. I'm fine that they won the race, so I have no problem with this team, other than being a bit bland. But they weren't that dominant. They kept messing up on getting first (6 times) which was just hilarious for an alpha-couple team?

Tim and Marie (2nd Place)- This actually surprised me. In the early legs, I instantly hated this team, but as the season went on, I actually liked this team a lot. Things started rough for them, but they later ended up being enjoyable and entertaining. Sure we have Marie the HBIC, but she can be pathetic yet funny at the same time. Like she is clueless on making hard-boiled eggs, but ended up getting it right on her first try (when everyone else fucked on their first try <3), forcing Tim to do the RB for her when they promised to to the RB back and fourth, her just freaking out eating grilled cobras, trying to do Tim's makeup at the Detour lol. Even Tim had his moments like his dancing with Jason (which was cute <3), him trying to lead to the next clue outside the location and ended up just wasting time, and launching Marie at the Japanese Game Show Challenge. And the funniest part was  Marie forced Tim to join the race with a 60/40 split if they ended up winning, which I think was pretty funny at the end of the race. Overall, these two were surprisingly enjoyable at the end.

Leo and Jamal (4th Place)- I know, they are obnoxious and annoying for some people, but they didn't bother me that much and like my earlier view they had the energy and fun in this race (to an extent). I agree they camerawhore a lot, but don't overreact like idiots (example Joey/Meghan level). And they were actually pretty smart and surprisingly deceitful with their lying ways (some were fun others were just plain stupid). Sucks that they got fucked on the RB since they were in the lead the entire time. But I think this is not the last we see them.....

Nicole and Travis (3rd Place)- Their last leg just disgusted me. Let's start with early on. They were fun and had some great moments (failing on getting first place thanks to a penalty) and (RB elevator troll), but the second half just showed how awful they are. First they U-Turn Leo/Jamal because they lied about a pointless question of a U-Turn. If they just said annoying, then I understand but them saying that playing the morality card was just total Bullshit. Things got worse then Nicole tried to CHEAT at the RB when trying to look at Jamal's work. What made that scene horrible was that they said they were going to do this in an honest and truthful game, then this shit happens. And Nicole was just pathetic at the RBs. She said they would dominate the race but she single-handedly fuck up in every RB and would have been eliminated if Jason/Amy didn't save their asses countless times (Ally/Ashley or Leo/Jamal would have made the F3 instead, but they still think they are an independent team.

And the Last 2 legs just show how truly awful they are. Particular to Travis, he was just so angry and bitter when Nicole fucks up and gave me Jonathan/Victoria vibes (WORST TAR RACERS EVER!) and Travis was just being a total douchebag and putting Nicole to tears when he bashes her for being so pathetic in the challenges when she said she can take care of them. I'm glad they lost because their leg 1 fuck up just foreshadowed their loss. They're are two-faced hypocrites and I'm sure this race might have gotten them divorced.
